Age Limits: Age is considered as on 5th June 2017 (Last
date of Online Application Submission)
Minimum Age – 18 years
Maximum Age – 40 years
Educational Qualifications: These are the minimum requirement of
candidate’s educational qualifications
- Should pass 10th
Standard from recognized State/Central Government education Board.
- Should have computer knowledge
and also have basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from recognized
computer institute. (if he/she studied Computers as one of the subject in School/college
then the computer training certificate is not required)
Note: Higher educational
qualification candidates are also eligible but the selection is just based on
the 10th Standard marks.
Application Fee: Application fee for this recruitment will have to
pay in any Head Post Office only. The application fee is exempted for all category
female candidates and SC/ST candidates.
For OC/OBC Male candidates – Rs.
100/-
Security Deposit: The
selected candidates should deposit security Amount of Rs. 25,000/- for GDS BPM
posts and Rs. 10,000/- for other posts in the event of their appointment. The
Security shall be in the form of Fidelity Guarantee bond or National Savings
certificate pledged to the Department of Posts in the name of President of
India.

GDS Recruitment page www.appost.in/gdsonline.
2. Go through the Registration link. Fill up the form
carefully & click on Submit button.
3. After Successful Submission
the candidate can get an unique Registration Number & Password.
4. Pay the Application Fee (inform
registration number) in any Head Post Office (if applicable).
5. After Successful Payment, once
again visit the Online GDS Recruitment page www.appost.in/gdsonline.
6. Go through Apply Online Link.
7. Log in with the Registration
Number, fee payment number and choose the postal Circle as Tamil Nadu.
8. Fill up each field of online
application & Upload the required documents carefully. Click on Submit
button.
9. After Successful Submission
online application, take a printout of it for future reference.
