Age Limits: the age limitation details to apply for Punjab Police
Recruitment 2016 for 7416 male and female constable vacancies. Age considered
as on 1st January 2016.
Minimum – 18 years
Maximum – 28 years
Age relaxation is applicable for
SC, ST, BC and Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules.
Education Qualifications:
Minimum qualification of the
candidate shall be 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/University.
The candidate must have passed
Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the subjects (either
compulsory or elective) or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi
Language.
Physical Standards: The minimum physical standard of the candidate
is his/her Height
Male – 5 feet 7 inches (5’ 7”)
Female – 5 Feet 3 inches (5’ 3”)
Application/Registration Fee: Fee will be paid through both online
and offline.
General – Rs.400/-
SC/ST/BC – Rs.100/-
Fee exempted for Ex-Servicemen.
Offline Fee payment:
download the challan form and pay the fee in any branch of HDFC Bank and also pay
in any Police SAANJH Kendras.
