and Rural Development (NABARD) released a notification related to its 2016
recruitment for Development Assistants Posts. This Recruitment Notification of NABARD
is for 85 Development Assistants/Development Assistants (Hindi) posts. NABARD

Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility criteria in the sense age
boundaries and educational qualifications of the candidate to apply for this
recruitment. The minimum required educational qualifications for Development
Assistants/ Development assistants (Hindi) Posts in this 2016 Recruitment of
NABARD is as follows
Age Limits: The age is considered as on 31st July 2016.
The upper age limit relaxation is applicable as per Government rules for those
candidates who belongs to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Widows/Divorced
Women/Women judicially separated who are not re-married/ Domiciled in Kashmir
Division of the State of J & K between 1st Jan 1980 and 31st
Dec 1989 categories. The age boundaries for the remaining candidates is
Minimum Age – 18 Years
Maximum Age – 35 Years
Educational Qualifications: Considered as on 31st July
2016
Development Assistant:
a) Bachelor Degree in any
Discipline with minimum 50% aggregate and have knowledge on Word Processing on
Computer.
b) For Ex-Servicemen: Graduate
from a recognized University or should
have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces
and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
c) Proficiency in the language
of the state which the candidates choose for posting i.e., to read, write, speak
& understand the language. The candidates should also be able to write
& speak English.
Development Assistants
(Hindi):
a) Graduate with minimum 50% marks,
Hindi and English as subjects or Hindi as Medium of Graduation with English as
compulsory subject or English as Medium of Graduation with Hindi as compulsory
subject. Knowledge of Computer Operation is essential.
b) Proficiency in the language
of the state which the candidates choose for posting i.e., to read, write, speak
& understand the language. The candidates should also be able to write
& speak English.
Application Fee: Application fee payment mode is online only
and fee exempted for NABARD staff. The fee details are
SC/ST/PWD/EX-Servicemen
candidates – Rs. 50/-
All other candidates – Rs. 450/-
Selection Procedure: NABARD Selection Procedure contains two
computerized object oriented tests; Preliminary Exam and Main Exam. The candidates
who applied will be called for Preliminary exam. After that the candidates who
qualified in preliminary exam will be called for Main Exam. Final selection
will be made based on the online main exam score (Merit based).
Preliminary Exam: objective
type online test for 100 marks with 3 sections 1 mark for each question and
time duration is 1 hour. Negative marking system is applicable for each wrong
answered question i.e., 1/4th mark of that question.
Main Exam: Objective and
descriptive oriented online test for 200 marks with 4 objective type sections
and one descriptive type section. Negative marking system is applicable for
each wrong answered objective type question i.e., 1/4th mark of that
question. Time duration for objective test is 90 minutes and 30 minutes for
Descriptive test.
