This recruitment of AAI is for the posts of Junior Assistant in Fire Service and vacancies available in this recruitment are 106. This recruitment is for various airports in eastern region states namely West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar and Sikkim. Rs. 12,500 to 28,500/-

Eligibility Criteria: the details of the candidates eligibility to apply for this AAI recruitment like educational qualification, age limits, Experience, physical fitness etc.

Educational Qualifications:-

10^th standard Pass and 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire with minimum 50% Marks

(Or)

12^th Standard (regular) Pass with minimum 50% Marks

Age Limits:- Age is considered as on 30^th June 2016 and upper age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and Departmental candidates is applicable as per the government of India rules.

Minimum – 18 years

Maximum – 30 years

Desirable Qualification & Experience:-

-> Computer Science as subject at 12^th standard.

-> NCC ‘B’ Certificate.

-> Relevant Experience in an Aviation/regular/industrial fire service.

-> Basic Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment.

-> Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire service College, Nagpur.

Driving License:-  

Valid Heavy Vehicle driving License

Or

Valid medium vehicle license issued at least one year before 30^th June 2016

Or

 Valid light motor vehicle license issued at least 2 years before 30^th June 2016.

Physical Fitness:-

Eye Sight	Distance Vision: 6/6 both eyes without glasses Near Vision: N-5 in both eyes without glasses Color Vision: Should be normal
Height	Not less than 167 cm
Chest	81 cm Normal. Minimum expansion 5 cm
Weight	Not less than 55 kg
Hearing	Normal
Speech	Normal

Application Fee: the candidate needs to download the challan from AAI official website and pay the application fee in any branch of SBI only. The application fee is exempted for Female, SC and ST candidate and fee for the remaining categories are

General/OBC - Rs. 400/-

Selection Procedure:  this recruitment process starts with computer based online examination; the candidates who will qualify in online test will be invited for physical Measurement test. After completion of the physical measurement test the candidates will be allowed for driving test. The candidates who will be qualified in driving test are only allowed to appear for Physical Endurance test. After successful completion of these test, 4 months Basic training Course in AAI Training Institute for the short listed candidates.
