Northern Railways ASM & Goods Guard Recruitment 2016-17: Northern Railways Recruitment Cell, Delhi released its 2017 recruitment notification for ASM & Goods Guard Posts on 3^rd week of December 2016. As per the notification this recruitment is for 102 Goods Guard posts and 168 Assistant Station Master posts in Pay Band Rs. 5,200 to 20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,800/-. Eligibility Criteria: The candidate’s required eligibility criteria for this Northern Railways recruitment are as follows

1) Who are Eligible to Apply for this Northern Railways GDCE: 

- Regular Serving Railway Employees of Northern Railways, Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala, Modern Coach Factory Raibareilly and Diesel Component Workshop Patiala whose Grade pay is not more than Rs. 2,800/- (Except MACP)

- RPF/RPSF Personnel are not eligible.

2) Educational Qualifications:

- Degree or its Equivalent from Recognized Board/University/Institute.

- Diploma in Rail Transport and Management from the Institute of Rail Transport will be additional Desirable qualification for ASM Post.

3) Age Limits: Category wide upper age limits are (considered as on 1^st January 2017)

General – 42 years

OBC – 45 years

SC/ST – 47 years

Part-I Application:

2. Go through the Online Application/Registration for GDCE for the selection to the posts of ASM & Goods Guard for serving regular Railway Employees of Northern Railways Notification.

3. Click on Click here link for Online registration.

4. A New window will be opened “Entire details of this recruitment will be display in that window” go through those details.

5. At last you find a link that Click here to Apply GDCE Online Application Form, Click on it.

6. A New window will be opened Which Displays a question that “Are you Regular Northern Railway Employee or RCF/KXH or MCF/RBL or DCW/PTA?”

7. Click on Yes radio button (if you are) and click on Start Button.

8. Online Application Form (Basic Details) will be opened.

9. Carefully fill the details and click on Register Button.

10. After Successful submission A registration Number and Password will be generated, the same will be send to the registered E-Mail and Mobile Number.

11. After the Visit GDCE Online Registration Page once again or click here.

12. Now Click on Candidate Login here to View/Print Application Link.

13. Enter your Registration Number and DOB Correctly then click on Login.

14. Fill the Online Application Form carefully.

15. Check entire details once before you going to submit application finally.

16. After Successful Completion of the Online Application, take a printout of it.

Part-II Application:

1. Fill the Part-II Application Form (own running Hand writing without Capital Letters).

2. Part-II Application Form Consists of Declaration, Thumb Impression, Signature, Place and Date Fields.

3. Affix one Passport Size Color Photograph on the application Form.

Required Enclosures List: Send Photocopies of all the below listed original documents

1. Matric Certificate (Age Proof)

2. Educational Qualification Certificates/Marks Sheets.

3. Community Certificate (For SC/ST/OBC) in prescribed format.
