Corporation Limited recently announced about its 2016 recruitment for Assistant
Loco Pilot posts in Mechanical Department. The number of vacancies available in
this recruitment of Konkan Railway is 57 Assistant loco Pilot posts. This
recruitment is only for the candidates whose land has been acquired for Konkan Railway line project and who have
valid registration in Employment Exchange along Konkan Railway route within the
jurisdiction of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (Raigad, Sindhudurg and
Ratnagari Districts of Maharashtra; Gao State; and Karwar, Udupi and South
Kannada Districts of Karnataka). Konkan Railway Co. Ltd is inviting all the

Who can apply for this Recruitment of Konkan Railway Co. Ltd:
- Land Losers whose land
has been acquired for Konkan Railway Line Project (Self/Sons/Spouse/Unmarried
Daughters/Grandsons/Unmarried Grand Daughters only).
- All candidates from Employment
Exchanges (General/OBC/ST/SC) with valid registration along Konkan Railway
route within Jurisdiction of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (Raigad,
Sindhudurg and Ratnagari Districts of Maharashtra; Gao State; and Karwar, Udupi
and South Kannada Districts of Karnataka)
Age Limits: Age is considered as on 1st January 2017
Minimum Age – 18 Years
Maximum Age – 33 Years
Upper Age relaxation applicable
to SC/ST candidates with 5 years (33+5= 38 years)
Educational Qualification: These are minimum requirements of
educational qualifications
- Should pass Matriculation or its
equivalent under 10+2 system.
- ITI/Act Apprenticeship under
the Apprentice Act 1961 in Fitter/Electrician/Instrument Mechanic/Mill Wright
Maintenance Mechanic/ Mechanic (Radio/TV)/Electronics Mechanic/Mechanic (Motor
Vehicle)/Wireman/Tractor Mechanic/Armature and Coil Winder/Mechanic Diesel/Heat
Engine/Turner/Mechanist Refrigerator/AC Mechanic.
OR
Diploma in Automobile
Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering recognized by AICTE in
lieu of ITI.
OR
12th (Science) Pass in
regular Schooling
Note: The candidates with Higher
educational qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Automobile
Engineering recognized by AICTE are also eligible to apply.
Examination Fee: Fee payment will be accepted through DD in favor
of FA&CAO/KRCL for GEN/OBC candidates. Examination fee is exempted
for Land Losers and SC/ST Candidates.

Qualifications.
2. Caste Certificate (in the
prescribed format required for Central Government Employment).
3. Land Losers Certificate issued
by Special Land Acquisition Officers/KRCL.
4. Certificate issued by
Tehsildar indicating the percentage of land lost with respect to the total land
holding of the land losers. (including all Survey numbers)
5. Proof of Date of Birth.
6. RTC Documents of land (7/12
etc) pertaining to the year of acquisition of land by Konkan Railway (Recent
dated documents are not accepted)
7. Examination Fee DD (Original)
8. Two Self attested photos
9. Valid Employment Exchange
registration card (for other than Land losers).
10. Proof of Relationship with
the land losers issued by Revenue authorities along with Affidavit on Rs. 100/-
Stamp paper.
11. Undertaking on Rs. 100/-
stamp paper as per KRCL format available in the official Notification, link is given below.
Selection Procedure: Separate panel will be prepared for Land
losers and other than land loser candidates. Priority for appointment will be given
to Land loser candidates and only after exhausting the panel of land losers,
the 2nd panel will be operated depending upon the available
vacancies.
