Eligibility Criteria: The age limits and required educational qualifications of the candidate to apply for this Constable recruitment of AP Police is

Age Limits (considered as on 1st July 2016)

Minimum - 18 Years Maximum – 30 Years (Upper Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules)

Minimum Educational Qualifications (considered as on 1st July 2016)

- SSC and Must possess Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Electronic Mechanic Or Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance Or Computer Operator and Programming Assistant Or Mechanic Consumer Electronics Or Electrician. Or - 2 years Intermediate Course with MPC (Or) Vocational Intermediate in Electronic Engineering Technician(EET)/Electrical Technician (ET) or Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Applications (EW & SEA) after SSC. (Higher Education Qualification than the prescribed one will also be considered for selection, but the candidate must hold the prescribed qualification)

Physical Standards: minimum physical requirements of the candidate for both men and women are as follows

Men:

Height: Must not be less than 162 cms

Chest: Must not be less than 84 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 4 cms.

Women:

Height: Must not be less than 152.5 cms

Weight: Must not be less than 40 Kgs

Medical Standards:

i) Eye Sight: Each eye must have a full field of vision.

Distance Vision – 6/6 for both eyes

Near Vision – 0/5 for both eyes

ii) The candidate should possess sound health and be free from any bodily defect or infirmity which will render him unfit.

iii) Physically Handicapped/ Knocking-knees, Pigeon chest, flat foot, Vericose veins, Hammer Toes, fractured limbs, decayed teeth, Stammering, hard of hearing and abnormal psychological behavior candidates will not be consider for recruitment.

Application Fee: the candidate needs to pay the application fee in any center of Mee Seva/AP Online/ TS Online by providing the basic details like your Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, mobile number, Community and SSC Hall Ticket number or its equivalent. Selection Procedure: This AP Police recruitment selection process is of 3 phases

1. Certificate Verification & Physical Measurement Test (PMT): This will be conducted at Vijayawada/Guntur.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 1600 Meters run

Male - must complete the run in 10 Minutes or less

Female - must complete the run in 12 Minutes 30 Seconds or less

3. Final Written Examination: This is technical paper and questions are objective type. It consists of 200 Questions with 200 Marks and time duration is 3 hours.

Important Dates:
