Eligibility Criteria: The minimum required eligibility of the candidate to apply for this recruitment in the sense of Nationality, Age, educational qualification and physical standards are as follows

Nationality:

- Should be a citizen of India

Age Limits: Age is considered as on 1^st January 2016 and the upper age limit relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/BC/Ex-servicemen as per the Government rules. The general details of age limits are

Minimum Age – 18 years

Maximum Age – 28 years

Educational Qualification: The minimum required educational qualifications for this recruitment are (Considered as on 22^nd October 2016)

- 10 + 2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board/university with at least 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST and BC).

- Must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language (Knowledge of Punjabi)

Physical Standards: The minimum required Height of the candidate for this recruitment is

For Male Candidates – 5 Feet 7 Inches (5’ 7”)

For Female Candidates – 5 Feet 3 Inches (5’ 3”)

Application Fee: The application fee payment will be accepted through both online and offline modes. The category wide fee details are

Selection Procedure:

1. Preliminary Merit List: Recruitment Board/Sub-Boards short list the candidates based on their educational qualifications.

2. Substance Abuse (Drug Addiction) Test: This test is only for male candidates

3. Screening Test: Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted in this stage of Recruitment for each category candidates. (25 times of the total vacancies for each category)

Note: Documents Verification shall be conducted at the time of PMT & PST. The candidates will be considered for Final merit list if their documents found correct at the time of verification.

Male Candidates	- 1600 meters Race to be completed in 6 minutes 30 Seconds (1 chance only) - 3.80 Meters Long Jump (3 Chances) - 1.10 Meters High Jump (3 Chances)
Male Candidates (Ex-Servicemen)	For Age up to 35 years: - 1400 meters walk or run to be completed in 9 minutes (1 chance only) - 10 Full Squats For Age above 35 years: - 1400 meters walk or run to be completed in 12 minutes (1 chance only) - 10 Full Squats
Female candidates	- 800 Meters race to be completed in 4 Minutes (1 chance only) - 3 Meters Long Jump (3 Chances) - 0.95 Meters High Jump (3 Chances)
